Fastest Growing Whop Products Right Now

DavidApril 3, 20263 min read

Every day, a handful of products on Whop break away from the pack. They're not necessarily the biggest or the most established — they're the ones gaining momentum right now.

At WhopScan, we track two key metrics to identify these breakout products:

How We Measure Growth

Momentum Score

Compares a product's last 30 days of estimated revenue against its prior 60-day baseline. A score above 1.0 means the product is performing better than its historical average.

  • Score > 1.5: Significantly outperforming baseline — strong upward trend
  • Score 1.0-1.5: Moderate growth above normal
  • Score < 1.0: Underperforming its own baseline — possible decline

Acceleration Score

Compares the last 7 days against the 30-day average. This captures very recent momentum shifts.

  • Score > 2.0: This week is 2x the normal weekly pace — potential breakout
  • Score > 1.5: Strong recent acceleration
  • Score < 1.0: Recent slowdown

Emerging Products

We flag products as "emerging" when they meet all three criteria:

  1. Less than $10K estimated monthly revenue (not already huge)
  2. More than $1K in the last 7 days (has real traction)
  3. 7-day pace is 3.5x faster than the 30-day average (accelerating fast)

These are the products most likely to become the next big thing in their category.

What Drives Breakout Growth?

Looking at products that have achieved high momentum scores over the past year, several patterns emerge:

1. Niche Timing

The most common factor in breakout growth is launching into a niche at the right time. Products that enter a category during its growth phase (rising health score, increasing new products) tend to capture disproportionate attention.

2. Pricing Innovation

Products that introduce a new price tier in their category often see rapid adoption. If every competitor charges $100/month and you offer a compelling $39/month alternative, the market responds.

3. Social Proof Velocity

Products that accumulate reviews quickly tend to accelerate. The review velocity metric (reviews per day) is strongly correlated with user growth in the following weeks.

4. Community Effects

Products with active communities — especially those where users interact with each other, not just the creator — tend to have stronger retention and word-of-mouth growth.

How to Spot Trends Early

If you want to identify growing products before they become obvious:

  1. Check the Product Checker — search your niche and look for products with the "Emerging" badge
  2. Sort by momentum — products with scores above 1.5 are worth watching
  3. Monitor weekly — the biggest gains come from catching trends in their first 2-3 weeks of acceleration
